• Location Data: GPS coordinates of caregivers, only during active scheduled shifts. Location data is never collected outside of defined work windows.
• Device Information: Push notification tokens for delivering alerts.
• Usage Data: Basic analytics to improve app performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

• Provide real-time location tracking during scheduled shift windows.
• Send push notifications about shift activity and updates.
• Authenticate your account securely via one-time passcodes.
• Improve and maintain the reliability of our services.

3. Data Retention

Location data is automatically deleted after 24 hours. Account information is retained for the duration of your active account. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Location data is only visible to family members within your Wayden family group, and only during active shifts.

5. Security

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices including JWT-based authentication, hashed credentials, and automatic token expiry.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings.
• Opt out of push notifications.

7. Children's Privacy

Wayden is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
