Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wayden mobile application and related services ("Service") operated by Wayden ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Wayden, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Wayden provides scheduled location tracking for household caregivers (nannies, babysitters, dog walkers) during defined shift windows. Tracking is active only during scheduled hours and automatically stops when a shift ends.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including unauthorized surveillance.
  • Family members inviting caregivers must ensure the caregiver consents to location tracking during scheduled shifts.

4. Caregiver Consent

Caregivers must explicitly accept an invitation and grant location permissions to participate in shift tracking. Caregivers may revoke location permissions or leave a family group at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to track individuals outside of mutually agreed shift windows.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application.
  • Use the Service to harass, stalk, or otherwise harm another person.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our systems.

6. Limitation of Liability

Wayden is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Location data accuracy depends on device hardware and environmental conditions.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
